Early Years Teaching Assistant

NextGen Teachers are working with a welcoming primary school and nursery in Bradford who are looking for a Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant to work on a flexible supply basis.

This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic Early Years practitioner looking for flexible work within a supportive and inclusive environment.

The Role

• Support children's learning and development through play-based activities
• Work alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging learning experiences
• Provide one-to-one and small-group support
• Support children's communication, confidence, independence and social development
• Assist with personal care and daily routines
• Promote positive behaviour and maintain a safe, nurturing environment
• Observe children's progress and provide feedback to the teacher

Requirements

• Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years or equivalent
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
• Flexible and reliable approach to working across different schools
• Two professional references
• Right to work in the UK
