Level 3 Early years Supply Teaching Assistant

NextGen Teachers are proud to be supporting a welcoming primary school and nursery, in the Bradford area, who are currently looking for an Early Years Teaching Assistant to work on a supply basis. This is ideal for a candidate that wants something flexible to fit into their lifestyle and work in a supportive and inclusive early years environment.

As an Early years Teaching assistant, you will:

• Supporting children with their learning and development through play-based activities
• Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and the 7 areas of the framework
• Work alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging and creative learning experiences
• Provide one-to-one and small-group support where required
• Encourage children's communication, confidence and social development
• Support children with their personal care and daily routines
• Help create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment
• Promote positive behaviour and encourage children to develop independence
• Observe children's progress and provide feedback to the class teacher
• Build positive and trusting relationships with children, parents and staff

Key Requirements:

• Has Level 3 in Childcare/ Child Development (or equivalent)
• Holds an enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to complete one)
• Has flexibility and adaptability to work in various schools
• Can provide two professional references
• Has the legal right to work in the UK
