Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

Salary: £92.60 per day

About the Role

NextGen Teachers are delighted to be recruiting for an EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Bradford, BD16.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant with a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification to support children within the Early Years Foundation Stage.

You will work closely with the class teacher to create a safe, nurturing and engaging learning environment, helping young children develop their confidence, independence and early learning skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Support children within EYFS across their daily learning and development.

• Work closely with the class teacher to support the delivery of engaging activities.

• Provide one-to-one and small-group support where required.

• Help children develop their communication, social and emotional skills.

• Support children's independence, confidence and personal development.

• Encourage positive behaviour and engagement with learning.

• Assist with classroom routines, preparation and organisation.

• Support children during indoor and outdoor learning activities.

• Build positive and trusting relationships with children.

• Contribute to a safe, inclusive and nurturing classroom environment.

• Follow school safeguarding policies and procedures.

Essential Requirements

We are looking for candidates who:

• Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant / Early Years qualification.

• Have previous experience working with children, ideally within an EYFS or primary school setting.

• Have a genuine passion for supporting young children's learning and development.

• Are patient, caring and enthusiastic.

• Can build positive relationships with children and staff.

• Have good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Understand the importance of safeguarding and child protection.

• Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or are willing to obtain one.
