Location: Horsham
Salary - £25,583 + £1,539 SSA allowance (pending uplift)
Full-time - Term-time only - 12 weeks temp to perm starting September

The Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

  • Support students Post 16 with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs
  • Work closely within a PSHE-focused classroom, supporting topics such as wellbeing, relationships and personal development
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with students who may display challenging behaviour
  • Help create a calm, structured and engaging learning environment

No prior PSHE experience is required - full support and guidance will be provided.

  • Experienced in SEMH, SEN, behaviour support, or similar settings
  • OR coming from a background in youth work, coaching, support work, or pastoral roles
