NextGen Teachers: Shaping the future generation!

We are proud and delighted to introduce NextGen Teachers, an education recruitment company focused exclusively on supporting schools across West Yorkshire.
NextGen Teachers is part of an established recruitment business named Huntress which has been supporting its customers from its office in Leeds for over 20 years.
Our specialist areas of recruitment are Teachers and Teaching Assistants (Support staff) specifically for SEN, Primary and Secondary schools.
We aim to differentiate in two key areas, 1) the levels of compliance every single candidate must adhere to before we are happy to promote their credentials. All our customers will have complete piece of mind that every candidate is not only capable but also eligible to teach, 2) by developing an in-depth partnership with the schools we support we hope to provide a service that is efficient in giving you piece of mind that your short term requirements are always met in line with your expectations.
The Head of NextGen Teachers is Charley Alexander. Charley has over 8 years’ experience working with schools and candidates across Bradford, Leeds, Wakefield, Huddersfield, Halifax, Calderdale and Kirklees.
In addition to Charley’s wealth of recruitment experience is her genuine passion for the education sector. She has delivered numerous workshops for many of the schools she has worked with over the years. Charley is also the Vice-Chair for a Multi Academy Trust which helps her gain a genuine insight into the numerous challenges faced by many schools across the region. Whilst we are not claiming to resolve all issues, we are passionate about supporting local schools by providing the right candidates who can in turn inspire our children to achieve their potential in academia but also in life, hence our purpose: Shaping the future generation!
In the first few months post our launch we are spending every hour registering and qualifying candidates who are ready to start teaching either immediately or ready for the busy period leading up to the new school year (academic year in September 2024).
If you would like to work with an agency that wants to make a difference and meet with Charley face to face to discuss how we can support your ambitions then please get in touch at Charley@nextgenteachers.co.uk.
