Teaching Assistant - Primary
Location: Haywards Heath, West Sussex
Salary: £20,984 - £23,847 (actual salary term time only)
Contract: 12 weeks Temp to Perm ASAP start following paid trial

We're looking for a caring and resilient TA to work alongside an experienced team, supporting pupils with a range of social, emotional and mental health needs. Every day is different, and every day as a Teaching Assistant you'll make a real difference to a child's confidence, progress and wellbeing.

Your role will include:
- Supporting pupils in class and through small-group or 1:1 TA interventions
- Promoting emotional regulation, positive relationships and resilience
- Encouraging independence and engagement in learning
- Assisting with behaviour support using restorative and positive approaches
- Helping prepare and deliver creative learning activities
- Working closely with teachers, therapists and other professionals
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience supporting children with SEMH or additional needs (or a genuine passion to learn) in any setting
- Brings patience, empathy and a calm, consistent approach
- Can build trusting relationships and model positive behaviour
- Works well as part of a collaborative, caring team
- Is committed to inclusion, safeguarding and helping every child succeed
