Location: Crawley, West Sussex
Salary: £95-100 per day
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15am-3:00pm
Contract: Ongoing Temp, Full-Time, Term-Time Only

Are you passionate about supporting students and helping them get the most out of their education?

We are currently looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join a supportive school environment, working alongside students to encourage their learning, development and engagement.

The Role

As an LSA, you will work closely with students and teaching staff to provide support in the classroom and help students access their learning. You will be part of a wider team focused on creating a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting students with their learning and development across the school day
  • Working alongside teachers to support classroom activities
  • Providing individual and small-group support where required
  • Encouraging students to engage positively with their learning
  • Helping students develop confidence, independence and communication skills
  • Supporting the wider classroom and maintaining a positive learning environment

Recruitment Process

The school is currently recruiting for a number of LSA positions. Candidates who are shortlisted will be invited to attend a morning session on site with a small group of students.

This gives both you and the school the opportunity to see how you work with students, build relationships and support learning in a classroom environment.

About You

We are looking for candidates who are:

  • Patient, approachable and supportive
  • Confident working with children and young people
  • Passionate about education and supporting students
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team
  • Reliable, professional and committed
  • Previous experience in education, care, youth work or support work is beneficial, but not essential
