NextGen Teachers are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a specialist secondary provision seeking a passionate and dedicated SEND Class Teacher to join their team from September 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a nurturing and highly supportive specialist setting for pupils aged 11-16 with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Learning and Additional Needs, and associated SEND needs.

The provision operates in partnership with a mainstream secondary environment and is committed to delivering inclusive, personalised education that enables every young person to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

We are looking for a teacher who is:

  • Passionate about inclusive education and SEND practice
  • Committed to helping pupils overcome barriers to learning
  • Skilled at building positive relationships with young people
  • Able to deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs
  • Patient, adaptable and resilient in their approach
  • A strong team player who values collaboration with support staff, families and external professionals

  • Experienced SEND Teachers
  • Primary Teachers looking to transition into specialist SEND
  • Secondary Teachers with strong differentiation and inclusion experience
  • ECTs with a genuine passion for SEND and additional needs

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Support pupils with a range of learning and additional needs
  • Create a safe, engaging and structured classroom environment
  • Deliver ambitious and accessible learning experiences
  • Promote pupils' confidence, independence and personal development
  • Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
