Contract: Term-time only
Hours: Monday to Friday, full-time

NextGen Teachers is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a primary SEN school in Leeds. This is a rewarding role supporting children with additional needs, helping them reach their full potential, and contributing to a positive school environment.

The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support teachers in delivering lessons and classroom activities

• Assist children with special educational needs in their learning and development

• Help manage behaviour and provide pastoral support

• Prepare learning materials and maintain a safe and organised classroom environment

About You
We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with children in education or care settings, ideally in SEN environments

• Is patient, adaptable, and supportive

• Works effectively both independently and as part of a team

• Communicates clearly and demonstrates strong organisational skills
