Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £45,000-£55,000 per annum

A high-performing, values-led secondary school in Bradford is seeking a dedicated SENDCO to lead inclusion and SEND provision. The school offers a supportive, structured environment with high expectations, where high-quality provision for pupils with SEND is central to its ethos.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the school's SEND strategy and provision

• Coordinate identification, assessment and support for pupils with SEND

• Oversee EHCPs, IEPs, statutory assessments and reviews

• Track progress and outcomes for pupils with SEND and vulnerable learners

• Lead and manage the SEND team and support staff

• Provide guidance and training for staff

• Work closely with parents, carers and external agencies

• Ensure statutory compliance, accurate records and effective use of SEND resources

The Ideal Candidate

• QTS and SENCO qualification (or working towards)

• Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice

• Proven impact on outcomes for pupils with SEND

• Experience leading teams and working with external agencies

• Strong leadership, communication and data analysis skills
