Nursery Teaching Assistant | Immediate Start

Location: Castleford

Contract: Term Time Only

Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, 8:30am - 3:30 pm (Full-Time for the right candidate)

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: £92.60 per day

NextGen Teachers are currently looking for a wonderful Nursery Teaching Assistant to start ASAP in Castleford. If you have experience with nursery as well as a level 3 qualification, then we'd love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Help deliver activities based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Assist with planning and setting up learning activities
• Prepare materials and tidy up after sessions
• Observe children and share feedback with the teacher
• Help children feel safe, included, and confident
• Assist with toileting, handwashing, and hygiene where required

What we're looking for:

• Experience working with young children within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• A good understanding of child development and play-based learning
• A patient, caring, and nurturing approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents
• Level 3 certified
