• Location: Crawley, West Sussex (Mainstream Secondary School)
• Pay: £95-£105 per day (dependent on experience)
• Hours: Monday to Friday (term time only)
• Contract: Long-term, ongoing
• Start Date: Immediate / ASAP

We are working with a welcoming mainstream secondary school in Crawley to recruit a Learning Support Assistant. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in education, care, or support work who are passionate about helping young people succeed.

The Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will support students across the curriculum, working both in the classroom and through targeted 1:1 and small group interventions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting students during lessons across a range of subjects
• Working 1:1 and with small groups to reinforce learning and understanding
• Supporting pupils with additional needs, including SEN and SEND
• Assisting with behaviour management and maintaining engagement
• Encouraging confidence, independence, and academic progress

The Ideal Candidate:

• Experienced as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, Support Worker, or similar
• Interested in working with secondary-aged students and a range of SEN
• Patient, adaptable, and proactive in your approach
• A strong communicator and team player
• In possession of an Enhanced DBS (or willing to obtain one)
