NextGen Teachers are currently looking for enthusiastic and committed Humanities Teachers to join our growing team of supply teachers working across Bradford and the surrounding areas.

We are looking for teachers who are passionate about their subject, confident in the classroom and able to quickly build positive relationships with students. Whether you're an experienced teacher looking for greater flexibility or an ECT looking to gain valuable classroom experience, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

As a Supply Humanities Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work across a variety of secondary schools, teaching subjects such as History, Geography, Religious Education and other Humanities specialisms, depending on your experience and the school's requirements.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering engaging and well-structured Humanities lessons
• Teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4, depending on your experience
• Following existing lesson plans and adapting delivery where appropriate
• Maintaining a positive and purposeful classroom environment
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively
• Supporting students to make progress and achieve their potential
• Building positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Providing appropriate feedback and maintaining high expectations

We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

• UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• A degree or relevant qualification in a Humanities subject
• Experience teaching History, Geography, RE or another Humanities subject
• Strong classroom and behaviour-management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A passion for education and supporting young people
• The flexibility to work across different schools and year groups
• The ability to provide 24 months of professional references
• The right to work in the UK
