Are you a confident and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor looking for your next opportunity in Harrogate?

We're working with a welcoming secondary school in Harrogate looking for a reliable Cover Supervisor to support pupils across a range of subjects and year groups.

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience working with children or young people who enjoys creating a positive classroom environment and supporting pupils with their learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise classes across KS3 and KS4 in the absence of the class teacher.
• Deliver pre-prepared work and ensure pupils remain engaged with their learning.
• Maintain a calm, positive and well-managed classroom environment.
• Support pupils with their work and encourage positive behaviour.
• Manage classroom routines and follow school policies and expectations.
• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Work closely with teachers and the wider school team.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable.
• Experience in a school, education, youth work or similar setting is beneficial.
• Confident managing a classroom and maintaining positive behaviour.
• Strong communication and organisation skills.
• A calm, patient and consistent approach.
• Reliable, adaptable and confident working across different subjects and year groups.
