Computer Science Teacher - Temporary Role

NextGen Teachers are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and committed Computer Science Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Bradford from September 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher looking for a temporary role until October half term, with the possibility of the position being extended for the right candidate.

The Role

As a Computer Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging lessons across the secondary age range, helping students develop their knowledge, confidence and practical skills in computing.

You will:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons.
  • Engage and motivate students of varying abilities.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Assess and monitor student progress.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues within the school.
  • Support students in achieving their academic potential.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a teacher who:

  • Has experience teaching Computer Science at secondary level.
  • Holds QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Has strong subject knowledge and excellent classroom management skills.
  • Is passionate about supporting young people and raising attainment.
  • Can build positive relationships with students and staff.
  • Is reliable, adaptable and committed to delivering high-quality lessons.
  • Holds an enhanced DBS on the update service
  • Has the right to work in the UK
