NextGen Teachers are currently working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive mainstream secondary school in the BD9 area of Bradford to recruit a Classroom Support Assistant.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people and making a positive impact on students' learning and development within a secondary school environment.

The Role:

As a Classroom Support Assistant, you will:

• Support students across Key Stages 3 and 4 within the classroom
• Work alongside teaching staff to help deliver engaging and accessible lessons
• Provide one-to-one and small group support where required
• Promote positive behaviour and support students' social and emotional development
• Help create a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate:

• Has experience working with children or young people
• Is patient, reliable, and enthusiastic about supporting students
• Has strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
• Holds (or is willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the update service
• Has the right to work in the UK
• Is able to obtain 24 months worth of professional references
