Teaching Assistant
SEND Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant (Secondary)
Location: Crawley, West Sussex
Contract: Supply - Full-time, ongoing
Start Date: ASAP (subject to compliance checks)
Pay: £90 - £100 per day (depending on experience)
We're looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant (TA) / Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Crawley, supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
In this rewarding supply role, you'll work alongside teachers to support pupils both in lessons and during independent study, helping them build confidence, independence and a love of learning.

Your role will include:
- Providing 1:1 and small-group TA support to pupils with additional needs
- Assisting students in class and during independent learning sessions
- Encouraging engagement, focus and positive learning habits
- Supporting emotional regulation and social development
- Working closely with the SENDCo, teaching staff and pastoral teams as a Teaching Assistant
We're looking for:ng
- Experience as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, or in a similar student support role
- Experience of working with young people with SEND (e.g. autism, ADHD, SEMH)
- A calm, caring and proactive approach to supporting learning
- Great communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for helping every student achieve their potential
