Geography Teacher - Secondary School

• Pay: MPS/UPS (depending on experience)

NextGen Teachers are working on behalf of a forward-thinking and inclusive secondary school in Bradford (BD9) to appoint a dedicated and passionate Geography Teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity for either an experienced teacher looking to join a supportive and high-achieving department.

About the Role:

• Deliver engaging and challenging Geography lessons to KS3 and KS4 pupils
• Contribute to curriculum planning and the development of fieldwork and enrichment opportunities
• Use a variety of teaching strategies to inspire a love for Geography and promote strong student progress
• Be part of a collaborative humanities department that values creativity, diversity, and academic rigour

The Ideal Candidate:

• Holds QTS
• Has experience teaching Geography at secondary level (KS3 & KS4 essential; KS5 desirable but not required)
• Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
• Committed to raising achievement and fostering a positive learning environment
• Enthusiastic, adaptable, and a strong team player

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Right to work in the UK
• Two professional references
