Supply Science Teacher
SEMH Secondary Science Teacher
Location: Nottingham
Contract: Full-time, Temporary
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
Age Group: Secondary Years
Start Date: September
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 (Depending on Experience)
We are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a specialist school for a Supply Secondary Science Teacher to join their dedicated team from September until December 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to inspire and support young people while delivering engaging Science lessons in a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

To be considered for this role, applicants must also have successfully completed their ECT (Early Career Teacher) induction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging Science lessons to GCSE students, adapting learning to meet individual needs.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment for students with SEMH and ASD.
- Monitor student progress and provide targeted support to help learners achieve their potential.
- Build strong relationships with students and promote positive behaviour and engagement.
- Work collaboratively with support staff and the wider school team to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
What we're looking for:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Science at Secondary level, ideally up to GCSE.
- A passion for supporting students with SEMH, ASD, or additional learning needs.
- Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills.
- A patient, adaptable, and positive approach to teaching and learning
