NextGen Teachers are supporting a well-respected SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) school in Huddersfield in appointing a committed and inspiring Primary Teacher for a permanent position starting in January.

This role is ideal for a teacher with primary or lower secondary experience (Year 7/8) who is passionate about creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment for pupils who need a more personalised approach. The Role:

* Plan and deliver a creative, differentiated curriculum that supports both academic progress and emotional development
* Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils who benefit from structure, consistency, and a calm approach
* Work collaboratively with a skilled leadership team and experienced support staff
* Contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture that prioritises pupil wellbeing

Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching in primary or with Year 7/8 pupils
* Calm, patient, and adaptable approach to supporting behaviour and learning
* Passion for working with pupils with additional needs, especially SEMH
