SEN Teaching Assistant - Leeds Primary School (ASAP Start)

NextGen Teachers are working closely with a welcoming primary school in Leeds to recruit a SEN Teaching Assistant for an immediate start. This role will be to support a number of children across Key Stage 1 with; Autism, ADHD and Communication needs.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children with special educational needs and wants to make a real difference in a positive, nurturing school environment.

Candidate applying for this role MUST have recent and relevant experience working in a Primary school within the last 12 months.

The Role

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN

• Help children access the curriculum and develop key learning skills

• Support pupils with social, emotional and behavioural needs

• Work closely with teachers and SEN staff

• Create a safe and encouraging learning environment

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is:

• Caring, patient and reliable

• Passionate about working with children

• Confident supporting pupils with SEN

• Experienced in SEN, education or care (preferred but not essential)
