Primary Supply Teacher - SEN Specialism
Location: BD16
Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday (8:30am - 3:30pm), term-time only, day-to-day supply cover
Start date: January 2026
Salary: £140 - £212 (depending on experience)

About the Role
- Deliver engaging, inclusive lessons that meet the diverse needs of pupils with a range of special educational needs
- Provide tailored support through small group and one-to-one teaching to promote progress, confidence, and independence
- Foster a positive, calm, and purposeful learning environment where every child feels valued and supported
- Adapt teaching strategies and resources to ensure accessibility for all learners
- Collaborate effectively with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and external professionals to deliver high-quality, consistent support
- Uphold safeguarding, equality, and inclusion in all aspects of your practice
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
- Proven experience teaching or supporting pupils with SEN, including autism, ADHD, or social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs
- A genuine passion for inclusive education and helping every child reach their potential
- Excellent communication, adaptability, and behaviour management skills
- A sound understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
