Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

Next Gen Teachers are proud to be working with a highly regarded SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) school in Huddersfield to appoint a dedicated and compassionate Primary Teacher for a permanent position.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher with primary or lower secondary (Year 7/8) experience who is looking for a rewarding role within a supportive, forward-thinking environment that values both professional growth and work-life balance.

The Role

You will plan and deliver a broad, creative curriculum adapted to meet the academic and emotional needs of pupils with SEMH challenges. The role offers the opportunity to make a genuine difference to learners who benefit from a nurturing, consistent approach. You will be supported by an experienced leadership team and skilled support staff who work collaboratively to create a positive and inclusive atmosphere.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Experience teaching in a primary setting or with Year 7/8 pupils

• A patient, adaptable, and empathetic approach to behaviour and learning

• A passion for supporting pupils with additional or SEMH needs
