Location: Crawley, Horsham, Horley, East Grinstead, Redhill & surrounding areas
Pay: Competitive daily and hourly rates, depending on experience

Are you a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Practitioner, Nursery Nurse or Childcare Practitioner looking for flexible work?

NextGen Teachers are working with nurseries and early years settings across West Sussex and East Surrey, and we're looking for experienced Early Years professionals to support staff shortages, planned absences and ongoing cover.

Whether you're looking for one or two days a week, full-time hours or something that fits around your existing commitments, we can offer flexible opportunities based on your availability.

The Role

As a Supply Nursery Practitioner, you'll work across a range of local nursery and early years settings, supporting children from babies through to pre-school age.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Providing high-quality care and support to children
• Supporting children's learning and development through play
• Planning and taking part in age-appropriate activities
• Supporting children's personal, social and emotional development
• Creating a safe, positive and stimulating environment
• Following each nursery's routines, policies and procedures
• Building positive relationships with children and staff
• Working as part of the nursery team
• Supporting children's individual needs and development

Who We're Looking For

We're keen to hear from candidates with experience as:

• Level 3 Nursery Practitioner
• Early Years Practitioner
• Nursery Nurse
• Childcare Practitioner
• Early Years Educator
• Room Leader
• Preschool Practitioner

You will need:

• A recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)
• Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting
• A genuine passion for working with young children
• A caring, patient and positive approach
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Reliability and flexibility
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
