Are you a Level 3 Teaching Assistant who is passionate about helping children succeed in the classroom?

NextGen Teachers are currently recruiting for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work on a supply basis across a welcoming mainstream school in Bradford (BD16)

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a flexible role where you can work closely with class teachers, support pupils with their learning and gain experience across a mainstream school environment.

The Role:

As a Supply Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support pupils across the classroom with their learning and development.
• Work alongside class teachers to deliver engaging and effective learning activities.
• Provide targeted 1:1 and small-group support where required.
• Help pupils stay focused, engaged and confident in their learning.
• Support children with a range of abilities and additional needs where appropriate.
• Assist with classroom organisation and preparation of learning resources.
• Build positive and professional relationships with pupils and staff.

As this is a supply position, you will have the opportunity to work within a variety of classroom environments, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a varied working week and is looking to build their experience within mainstream education.

Requirements:

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Previous experience working with children in a school, nursery, childcare or education setting is highly beneficial.
• Experience supporting pupils with additional needs is desirable but not essential.
• Minimum Grade 4/C in GCSE English and Maths.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
• Two suitable references covering your recent employment/education experience.
• A genuine passion for helping children learn, develop and achieve their potential.
