NextGen Teachers are currently seeking a passionate, enthusiastic and dedicated Level 3 Qualified Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Harrogate (HG2).

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated TA who is committed to supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing in a positive and inclusive school environment.

The Role

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons
• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils across the primary age range
• Help children develop their academic, social and emotional skills
• Assist with classroom preparation, learning resources and daily activities
• Support pupils with additional learning needs where required
• Promote positive behaviour and maintain a safe, nurturing learning environment
• Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to help every child reach their full potential

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
• Has previous experience working within a primary school setting
• Has a good understanding of the primary curriculum
• Is confident supporting pupils with varying abilities and learning needs
• Demonstrates patience, flexibility and excellent communication skills
• Is proactive, reliable and passionate about helping children succeed
