NextGen Teachers is looking for a dedicated Health and Well-being Officer to join a secondary school in Barnsley. This role is based in the school's medical room and is key to supporting students' health, safety, and wellbeing.

About the Role:

• Oversee the day-to-day first aid provision for students.

• Manage the signing in and dispensing of medication.

• Complete relevant risk assessments to ensure a safe environment.

• Support student wellbeing across the school as required.

Who We're Looking For:

• First aid trained, with medication dispensing training desirable but not essential.

• Experience working with children in a health or pastoral capacity.

• Excellent communication, organisational, and record-keeping skills.

• Reliable and confident in handling health-related responsibilities.
