Art Teacher Location: Leeds (LS14)
Salary: £32,000 £49,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Fixed-term (1 year)
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, Term Time Only
Hours: 8:30am - 4:00pm Start Date: ASAP

About the Role

NextGen Teachers are working with a welcoming and inclusive mainstream secondary school in Leeds to recruit a passionate and creative Art Teacher for a fixed 1-year contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher who is committed to inspiring students through visual arts and contributing positively to a thriving creative department.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and high-quality Art lessons across KS3 and KS4

• Plan, prepare, and assess in line with the national curriculum

• Foster creativity, confidence, and artistic skills in students

• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment

• Work collaboratively with the wider department and school staff

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• Experience teaching Art in a UK secondary school setting

• Strong classroom management skills

• A passion for creative education and student development

• Ability to commit to a full-time, fixed-term role
