West Sussex - £150 - 180 per day - DOE - Immediate Start

Are you an ICT, Computing or Computer Science Teacher looking for a rewarding teaching opportunity where you can make a real difference to young people's lives?

We are recruiting for an enthusiastic and capable ICT / Computing Teacher to join a specialist SEMH secondary school in West Sussex on a supply basis with an immediate start.

The school supports pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and is committed to helping every student achieve their potential both academically and personally.

The Role

  • Teach ICT, Computing and Computer Science across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Deliver engaging and accessible lessons tailored to individual learning needs
  • Support pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
  • Create a positive, structured and nurturing learning environment
  • Build strong relationships that encourage engagement and progress
  • Work closely with support staff and the wider school team

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS or equivalent
  • Experience teaching ICT, Computing or Computer Science within a secondary setting
  • Previous experience working with SEMH, SEND, Alternative Provision or challenging behaviour is desirable but not essential
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • A patient, adaptable and positive approach to teaching
  • Commitment to supporting vulnerable young people
