Salary: £140 - £180 per day (Depending on Experience)

NextGen Teachers are looking for a passionate and experienced Year 1 Class Teacher. This is a part-time role for a fantastic school within a welcoming and supportive primary setting. The experienced candidate will deliver creative and engaging lessons tailored to Year One pupils. You will play a key role in supporting early development, building strong foundations in learning, and fostering a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment where every child can succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons in line with the Year 1 curriculum
• Assess, monitor, and support pupil progress to ensure strong outcomes for all learners
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes wellbeing and achievement
• Work well with colleagues on planning, assessment, and school initiatives
• Build strong relationships with parents and carers to support learning beyond the classroom
• Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and promote the welfare of all pupils

What we're looking for:

• A qualified teacher (QTS required) with Proven Experience as a Year 1 Class Teacher
• An excellent classroom practitioner with high expectations for all pupils
• A positive, resilient and creative approach to teaching
• A strong commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
• A team player who collaborates effectively with colleagues
• Confident in building relationships with parents and carers
• Passionate about helping every child achieve their full potential
