Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant

Location: Wakefield
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm (term time only)
Start: ASAP
Salary: From £92.60 per day

We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a warm and welcoming primary school in Wakefield. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a supportive team where your contribution will make a real difference to pupils' learning and development.

In this varied and rewarding role, you will support teaching and learning across EYFS and KS1, working closely with class teachers to deliver engaging, inclusive lessons. You'll play a key role in helping pupils build confidence, develop key skills, and reach their full potential.

The Role

• Support teaching and learning within the classroom and in small groups
• Deliver engaging, child-centred activities that inspire and motivate learners
• Provide tailored support to pupils across EYFS-KS2
• Help track and support pupil progress and development
• Contribute to a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment

What We're Looking For

• A Level 3 Childcare qualification (or equivalent)
• Experience working with primary-aged children
• A proactive, adaptable, and supportive approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and wellbeing
