SEN Teaching Assistant - Daily Supply & Long-Term Cover

Location: Godalming, Surrey
Pay: £95-£100 per day
Contract: Flexible daily supply and longer-term placements

Age Groups: Primary and Secondary

Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs? NextGen Teachers are recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to work in a specialist school in Godalming, with opportunities for both flexible daily supply and longer-term cover.

The Role

• Supporting primary and secondary-aged pupils with special educational needs.
• Providing classroom, small-group and 1:1 support to help pupils access learning.
• Supporting pupils' communication, social development and emotional wellbeing.
• Working alongside teachers and other support staff to create a positive learning environment.
• Opportunities to work on a flexible daily supply basis or provide longer-term cover.

Requirements

• Experience working with children or young people in education, care, support work or a similar setting is beneficial.
• A patient, adaptable and supportive approach.
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle due to the school's location.
• An enhanced DBS covering both children and adults, or a willingness to obtain the necessary checks.
