Hours: Full-Time - Monday to Friday - 8:30am - 3:30pm - Term Time Only

Salary: £92 - £96 per day (depending on experience and role)
NextGen are recruiting for an SEN Teaching Assistants and Teaching Assistant to join schools in Leeds with an ASAP start. We recruit for a range of different schools this including Early Years, Primary and Secondary Schools - Mainstream and SEN Schools.
The Role:
- Supporting the pupil's learning, engagement and development
- Working closely with the class teacher and the wider SEN team to create an inclusive and collaborative environment
- Foster a positive, inclusive and nurturing environment that supports learning and wellbeing
- Adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures, ensuring the safety and welfare of all pupils
- Monitor learner progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate any concerns to teaching staff and senior leaders
Who We're Looking For:
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Calm, patient and positive approach
- Team player, willing to learn and support staff
- Committed to safeguarding and pupil welfare
- Focused on inclusion, progress and development
- Experience supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD, anxiety or communication needs is desirable
- Has the right to work in the UK
- Holds an enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
