The Role

Depending on the opportunity, you could be working as a Primary Supply Teacher across different year groups or joining a school on a longer-term or permanent basis.

Supply teachers will deliver engaging lessons, follow school planning and quickly adapt to different classroom environments. For longer-term and permanent positions, you will take a more consistent role in supporting pupils' learning and development.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons across primary year groups
• Follow existing lesson plans and school schemes of work where required
• Adapt confidently to different classroom environments and pupil needs
• Maintain positive behaviour management and high expectations
• Create a calm, inclusive and engaging learning environment
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and the wider school community
• Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development
• Provide appropriate feedback and maintain high classroom standards

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for Primary Teachers who:

• Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Have experience teaching within a UK primary school
• Are confident teaching across different primary year groups
• Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Are adaptable, reliable and enthusiastic
• Are passionate about supporting children's learning and development
• Can work effectively both independently and as part of a school team
• Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or are willing to obtain one
