Supply Teacher

Location: Crawley, West Sussex
Pay: £130-£190 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-Time, Short-Term and Long-Term Supply Opportunities

The Role

As a Supply Teacher, you will deliver pre-planned and engaging lessons across a range of year groups and subjects, ensuring continuity of learning in the absence of the regular class teacher.

You'll be expected to quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff, maintain high expectations, and create a calm and productive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across Primary or Secondary year groups
• Adapt confidently to different school environments and classroom settings
• Maintain positive behaviour management in line with school policies
• Create an engaging and inclusive learning environment
• Build strong relationships with pupils and school staff
• Ensure continuity of learning and high classroom standards
• Complete any required handover notes for teaching staff

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for teachers who:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Have experience teaching within UK Primary or Secondary schools
• Are adaptable, flexible, and confident working in different school settings
• Have excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• Are reliable, professional, and enthusiastic
• Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or are willing to obtain one)
