NextGen Teachers are proud to be working in partnership with a SEN School based in Leeds to recruit a Supply SEN Teaching Assistant for a full-time role, with the opportunity to move into a permanent contract for the right candidate.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and making a real difference in a nurturing and inclusive school environment.

The Role

As a Supply SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support pupils with a range of special educational needs, both 1-to-1 and in small groups

  • Work closely with teachers and SEN staff to help pupils access learning

  • Provide emotional, behavioural, and academic support

  • Help create a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment

We're Looking For

You don't need to be a qualified teacher - we are looking for someone who is:

  • Caring, patient, and resilient

  • Passionate about working with children with SEN

  • Reliable and committed to full-time work

  • Experienced in SEN, care, youth work, or education (preferred but not essential)
