Teaching Assistant - ASD Specialism

Location: WF7 | Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:45am-3:35pm (Term Time) | Salary: £19,000-£20,000

NextGen Teachers are seeking a caring and proactive Teaching Assistant to support children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a specialist school in WF7.

Role Overview:

• Support pupils with ASD in class and small-group settings

• Assist with learning plans, sensory and communication activities

• Provide personal care and daily routine support

• Create a calm, structured, and positive learning environment

Requirements:

• Experience with SEND, ASD, or ADHD (school or care setting)

• Patient, adaptable, and reliable

• Comfortable providing personal care

• Passionate about developing within SEND education
