This SEN school based in Bradford cater for students aged 11 - 19 years and are dedicated to supporting young people with a wide range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), including moderate to severe learning difficulties, autism spectrum conditions, and complex needs.

The school is a warm, inclusive and forward-thinking environment where every young person is valued and supported to achieve their full potential - academically, socially, and personally.

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join the schools team on a full-time basis starting ASAP or in January 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students with additional learning needs.

As an LSA, you will:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with special educational needs.

  • Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning plans.

  • Support students' communication, social, and emotional development throughout the school day.

  • Help create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment.

  • Foster independence, resilience, and confidence in students.

  • Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, therapists, and other support staff.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Passionate about supporting young people with SEND.

  • Patient, empathetic, and able to build positive relationships.

  • A team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Resilient, adaptable, and willing to learn new approaches to support diverse needs.

  • Experienced working in an SEN or care setting (desirable but not essential - full training provided).

Qualifications:

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths - required.

  • Relevant SEN, childcare, or education qualifications - desirable.
