Location: Leeds
Contract: Full-time, Term Time Only - Temp to Perm
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
Age Group: 11-17 years
Start Date: September
Salary: £19500 - £21500 per annum (depending on experience)

Are you a confident Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding new opportunity? Join a supportive specialist setting, helping 11-17-year-olds with Autism, ADHD and Down Syndrome to build confidence, develop key skills and thrive. With small classes of just 7-10 pupils, you'll have the chance to make a real difference every day!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to learners with a wide range of complex needs throughout their daily learning.
  • Collaborate with teachers to deliver engaging, inclusive, and differentiated learning experiences.
  • Adapt flexibly to work across different sites in response to the changing needs of learners.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing environment that supports learning and wellbeing.
  • Adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures, ensuring the safety and welfare of all pupils.
  • Monitor learner progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate any concerns to teaching staff and senior leaders.
