Are you a confident Cover Supervisor who thrives in a fast-paced secondary school environment? Looking for flexible, rewarding work where no two days are the same? NextGen Teachers are working closely with a welcoming secondary school in BD9, and we're looking for an experienced Cover Supervisor to join our supply team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about education, confident in the classroom, and skilled in managing behaviour across Key Stages 3 and 4.

The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects

• Maintain a positive, safe, and focused learning environment

• Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills

• Engage and motivate pupils to stay on task

• Follow school policies and provide feedback where required

This role is supply-based, offering flexibility to suit your lifestyle while gaining valuable experience in a supportive secondary school setting.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience covering classes in a secondary school

• Confident classroom presence with excellent behaviour management

• All-round subject knowledge across the secondary curriculum

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• A proactive, reliable, and professional approach

• Eligibility to work in the UK

• An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to complete one)
