About the Role
NextGen Teachers is seeking an inspiring and knowledgeable Psychology Teacher to join a welcoming and ambitious secondary school located in the BD5 area of Bradford. This is a fixed-term contract, ideal for a passionate educator who is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and helping students excel at KS4 and KS5.

You will join a supportive Humanities/Social Sciences department, contributing to a curriculum that stimulates curiosity, critical thinking, and a deeper understanding of human behaviour.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, challenging lessons in Psychology across KS4 and/or KS5.
• Assess, track, and report on student progress in line with school policy.
• Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment that promotes success for all learners.
• Develop students' analytical and evaluative skills through varied teaching strategies.
• Contribute to departmental planning, curriculum development, and wider school activities.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour, engagement, and academic standards.

About You
We are looking for someone who:

• Holds QTS/QTLS or is an ECT with a strong understanding of Psychology.
• Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge and enthusiasm for the discipline.
• Can engage students through creative and effective teaching.
• Is committed to safeguarding, wellbeing, and positive outcomes for young people.
• Works effectively as part of a collaborative, supportive team.
• Has an enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to complete one)
