About the Role
NextGen Teachers is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Classroom Support Assistant to join a vibrant secondary school in Bradford. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about education, supporting young people, and contributing to a positive learning environment.

As a Classroom Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to provide high-quality support to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will help create an engaging, inclusive atmosphere where all students can thrive.

Key Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning within the classroom, working with individuals and small groups.
• Assist in delivering differentiated activities that meet students' varied needs.
• Provide support to students with SEND, SEMH, or additional learning needs.
• Help maintain a positive, safe, and structured learning environment.
• Support the teacher with planning, preparation, and classroom organisation.
• Promote good behaviour and encourage student engagement and independence.
• Contribute to the wider school community and uphold the school's values.

About You
We're looking for someone who is:

• Passionate about helping young people succeed.
• Positive, resilient, and proactive in their approach.
• Able to build strong relationships with students and staff.
• A team player with good communication and organisational skills.
• Ideally experienced in a school setting, though applications from graduates or aspiring teachers are warmly welcomed.

Requirements:

• An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to complete one)
• The right to work in the UK
• Two professional references
