SEN Teaching Assistant - Primary school in Wakefield

• Full-time (Monday - Friday)
• 8:30am - 3:30pm each day

NextGen Teachers are currently working with a lovely Primary school based in Wakefield, Castleford who are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to support a child in Early Years (Reception) on a 1:1 basis who has Autism and Social and Emotional Mental health needs.

This role is due to start as soon as possible and will be to support this child for 37 hours per week, term-time only. This is a long-term role leading to a contract with the school.

This role will be to support this child in school on a 1:1 basis both in and outside the classroom and working as a key mentor for this child and their parents.

Candidates applying for this role MUST have previous professional experience working in a school with children with Special Educational Needs and must be available as soon as possible.
