Location: Huddersfield, HD8
Hours: Monday-Friday, 37 hours per week | Term Time + 5 Inset Days
Start: ASAP (pending notice period)

NextGen Teachers are looking for a Positive Engagement / School Inclusion Coach with creativity and resilience to join an SEMH specialist school in Huddersfield. You'll take the lead in coordinating, designing, and delivering activities that help pupils re-engage with learning, build confidence, and achieve positive outcomes.

You'll also work with a variety of organisations, establish networks, and ensure safe and effective provisions across a range of settings. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coordinate, and deliver structured engagement activities

  • Support pupils' social, emotional, and academic development

  • Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and external agencies

  • Contribute to a calm, structured, and inclusive school environment

Requirements:

  • Experience in a school or similar setting

  • Ideally, experience supporting children/young people with SEN/SEMH needs

  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)

  • Relevant Level 3 qualification

  • Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle

  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills
