Location: Reigate, Surrey
Contract: Full-Time | Term-Time Only
Pay: £95-£110 (dependent on experience)

We are recruiting a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist school in Reigate supporting pupils with SEMH, Autism (ASC), SEND, and associated learning needs.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Teaching Assistants, Support Workers, Care Workers, or mainstream school staff looking to transition into a specialist SEN setting and build a long-term career within education.
The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teaching and pastoral staff to support pupils both academically and emotionally within a structured and nurturing environment.
You will help students build confidence, improve emotional regulation, and engage positively with learning through consistent support and strong relationship-building.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
- Assisting with emotional regulation and behaviour support
- Supporting learning activities and classroom engagement
- Helping implement EHCP targets and personalised support strategies
- Creating a calm, safe, and structured learning environment
- Building positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
- Monitoring progress and providing feedback to teaching staff
- Supporting pupils with additional needs where required
