NextGen Teachers are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and committed Computer Science Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in the LS15 area of Leeds.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Computer Science teacher looking for a new role, initially on a contract/term-time booking, with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging Computer Science lessons across the secondary age range, helping students develop their knowledge, confidence and practical skills.

The successful candidate will:

• Plan and deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons
• Inspire and engage students with a passion for technology and computing
• Teach across the relevant secondary curriculum and exam specifications
• Create a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment
• Assess and monitor student progress effectively
• Work collaboratively with colleagues within the department and wider school
• Contribute positively to the wider life of the school

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a teacher who is:

• Qualified to teach Computer Science or has strong relevant teaching experience
• Passionate about Computer Science and education
• Confident teaching students across the secondary age range
• Able to plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons
• Committed to achieving excellent outcomes for students
• Reliable, enthusiastic and professional
• Able to build positive relationships with students and colleagues
• The right to work in the UK
• An enhanced DBS o the update service (or willingness to complete one)
• The ability to provide x2 professional references to cover the last 24 months of employment or education

Both ECTs and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply, provided they can demonstrate the required subject knowledge and teaching ability.
