A well-established specialist school in Redhill is looking for a confident, compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately. This role is perfect for someone who has a nurturing "care-first" approach with the ability to mentor teenagers (ages 11-16) as they work through their academic and social development.

• Pay: £90 - £100 per day.
• Contract: 12-week Temp-to-Perm (following a successful trial day).
• Hours: 8:30am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday (Term Time Only).
• Location: Redhill (accessible by public transport).
• Training: Access to Free Pre-placement Training to support your professional growth

The role:

• Nurturing Independence: Helping students build the confidence and life skills they need for life beyond school.
• Personalised Mentorship: Providing 1:1 and small group support tailored to Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
• Adaptive Support: Working alongside teachers to make complex secondary subjects accessible and engaging for students with diverse learning needs.
• Consistency & Care: Providing positive engagement and a steady presence in a structured learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate:

• You have experience or a genuine interest for supporting Secondary-aged students with Autism or learning difficulties.
• You are a clear communicator who can build rapport with teenagers.
• You remain calm and professional, acting as an "anchor" for your students when needed.
• You are reliable, proactive, and ready for an Immediate Start.
