1:1 SEN Support Assistant - Secondary SEN School - White City

A specialist secondary school in White City is looking for a 1:1 SEN Support Assistant to work with a Year 8 pupil who has sensory processing and communication needs. This is a full-time, ongoing role in a school known for its inclusive ethos and excellent staff development.

Your responsibilities:

  • Providing consistent 1:1 support throughout the school day
  • Supporting sensory regulation and communication strategies
  • Liaising with the SENCO and therapy team to adapt learning
  • Encouraging social interaction and emotional wellbeing

Ideal candidate:

  • Experience with autism, sensory needs, or speech & language support
  • Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
  • Team Teach or similar behaviour training is a bonus
