NextGen Teachers are recruiting a motivated and compassionate Primary Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Redhill. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to make a meaningful difference to their learning, development and wellbeing.

The Role:

• Provide tailored 1:1 and small-group support to primary-aged pupils with SEN.
• Help children access the curriculum and engage confidently in classroom activities.
• Support pupils with needs such as Autism (ASC), ADHD and learning difficulties.
• Work closely with the class teacher to adapt learning activities and resources.
• Encourage positive behaviour, emotional regulation and social development.
• Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every child feels supported.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Has experience working with children in a school, childcare or similar setting.
• Is confident supporting pupils with additional learning or behavioural needs.
• Demonstrates patience, empathy and a positive attitude.
• Is proactive and able to adapt to the changing needs of pupils.
• Enjoys working collaboratively with teachers and other support staff.
