Are you a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher looking for your next opportunity in York?

NextGen Teachers is working with a welcoming primary school in York seeking an enthusiastic Year 6 Teacher to join their team ASAP.

You will be teaching a mixed-ability Year 6 class, delivering engaging lessons and supporting pupils as they prepare for the transition to secondary school.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident teacher with previous upper KS2 experience who can create a positive, inclusive and engaging classroom environment.

We Are Looking For Teachers Who:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Have experience teaching within Key Stage 2

• Ideally have previous Year 5 or Year 6 teaching experience

• Are confident teaching a mixed-ability classroom

• Have strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and Year 6 expectations

• Can plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons

• Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills

• Can build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents

• Are reliable, enthusiastic and committed to pupil progress

Experienced Year 5 and Year 6 teachers are particularly encouraged to apply.
